Tina Tru

Tina Tru, a radical queer feminist and organizer, is a California native living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She uses nature, science and magical realism to convey themes of loss, love, feminism and liberation. Her writing focuses on labor rights, LGBTQIA+, migrant and refugee rights. Her poetry and articles have been published in the Tipton Review, The Bitchin' Kitsch, Socialist Worker, Monthly Review and Truthout. Between writing breaks, she enjoys dancing, singing, hiking, and cooking.
